The name Pigna is not a word one would recognize in the English language, and that is because it originates from the Italian language. 

While trying to create a name, I could connect my products to two very distinct things that came to mind. My love for nature and my love for Italy. 

Growing up, I was thrown into nature and cultivated core memories that would shape me into the young person I would become. As I grew older, my love for nature didn’t diminish, and I gathered inspiration for my creative outlets - clothing design and crafts. 

Then when I became 19 years old, I had the opportunity to live and experience northern Italy for 18 months, and this furthered my inspirational bubble. While living in Italy, the language took me far too long to learn, because of how different it is from English. Italian is a Latin-based language, and English is a Germanic-based language. But once I learned the rules and accent, and the labor of love that followed, I swore I would always find a way for Italian to be a part of my life. 

And thus I give you Pigna Creations. Or as the English interpretation comes out to be, Pinecone Creations.
